Shopping - Where to Shop In & Around Los Angeles

Shoppers will have endless choices in Los Angeles whether looking for designer goods to straight and simple fashion. The most famous shopping street in the city is the Rodeo Drive close to Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. Do not be surprised to spot your favorite celebrity at the Beverly Center and the Century City Shopping Center. There are branded stores of Macy's and Bloomingdales as well as local designers. Tourists also find the Farmers Market at The Grove an attractive place to be alongside the townspeople. There are several upscale markets in the city as well as middle-order markets for those that need to keep an eye on their budget. The Third Street Promenade is a live shopping stretch with numerous shops selling eateries, records and clothes along with live performances.

LA's most colorful street is the Olvera Street that offers not just a good shopping experience but also fine architecture and lively streets.

The Westwood Village is a more economized shopping region with inexpensive shops selling more practical items like clothes, groceries, electronics and books.

The Grand Central Market is located on South Broadway and daily sells fresh veggies, fruits and homemade produce.

Visit the Fashion District for some real bargains on fashion merchandise. The district is spreads over a 90-block area consisting of manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers.

Hollywood & Highlander Center is the best place to pick up some souvenirs. There are also other shops selling the regular tourist stuff.
